With a stylish ambience and an amazing multi-cuisine experience, Vapour Bar Exchange is the perfect place for a friends reunion or a family gathering or even a date with your loved one. This bar-cum-lounge is located in Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi but has various other branches in Gurgaon and Noida as well.

The décor is classy and just apt for the place. The interplay of lights in the evening makes the place glimmer and sets in a positive tone for the night. The added touch of outdoor or rooftop seating is extremely lucrative; nevertheless, the indoor seating is just as comfortable.

But without a doubt, the thing which calls out the most to me is the supremely delicious variety of cuisines, enough to make me drool, just at the mere sight of it!

The first thing which you HAVE TO order if you’re at Vapour Bar Exchange is the Vapour Fries! These come in 2 versions – veg or non-veg. I ordered the vegetarian option, and was provided with an assortment of onion rings, potato wedges, corn and cheese bites and French Fries. And trust you me, this platter was definitely the crispiest, crunchiest set of munchies I’ve ever had! Each bite had the perfect crunch to it, and the corn and cheese bites were oozing with cheese. This assortment was the perfect entrée for the upcoming meal.

The next thing I ordered along with the Vapour Fries was the Non Veg Kebab Platter. This platter consisted of Indian non-vegetarian starters, including varieties of chicken, mutton, fish and prawn. Each piece was cooked to perfection - the meats were juicy and succulent, and the seafood was cooked well. The platter had the perfect char to it and tasted amazing!

I also ordered Steamed Dimsums, both veg and non – veg and Honey Chilli Potatoes. The former consisted of 5-6 pieces per variety. The filling inside was fresh, and the dimsums themselves, were quite huge per piece. The latter consisted of crispy, fried potato fingers tossed in Hunan chilli sauce. Both the dishes tasted heavenly and were definitely a full-filling meal by themselves.

Taking a much-needed break after the appetizers, I ordered a Fruit Infusion mocktail which was packed full of flavour from different fruits like apple, grape, and berries. The outlet also provides a wide array of mocktails, shakes, soft and hard beverages to choose from.

Continuing with my meal, I ordered Chicken Cheesy Pasta, which consisted of penne pasta smothered with in-house cheesy cream sauce, along with juicy, marinated chicken chunks in between. The pasta was cooked al-dente and the sauce was creamy and delectable. The chicken was succulent and cooked perfectly, and the portion size was a generous one too.

Since I was almost full to the brim, I decided to not order something too heavy on the stomach and stuck to my good ol’ favourite Veg Chilli Garlic Noodles. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the garlic and pepperiness of chilli provided the perfect end to my meal!

To summarise, Vapour Bar Exchange is a must-visit if you’re a sucker for good food and aesthetic ambience. The interiors of the place are simple but beautiful, and well-lit. The bar is well-equipped with the finest array of whiskeys, wines, vodkas and beers. There is also a setup for live match screenings arranged for the guests. A live band or DJ setup is generally arranged and played at night.

Pro tip – if you’re planning to visit the place on weekends or night times, it is recommended to call up for reservation or book a table for yourself via Zomato or EazyDiner or any other app.
