With a different ambience theme in every outlet and an unending, delicious supply of food and beverages, this outlet definitely tops the charts when it comes to creating a sense of astoundment.

Located in the food hub of Gurgaon, Cyber Hub, Social is one of the most prominent and loved restaurants amidst the Delhi/NCR crowd.

Space has been designed to resemble the famous Mumbai Chawls. There are separate mini rooms in close proximity to each other. The rooms are decorated with antique items like radio box, black and white television sets, brass lamps and vintage rotary phones. There is also a common sitting area along with a bar that looks like a desi liquor shop.

I have visited the place many times due to its moreish food which calls out to me!

My absolute favourite is the BBQ Chicken Poutine, which is basically house fries served with a delicious topping of BBQ chicken chunks and overloaded with cheese. The best bit is the cheese pull along with the succulent pieces of BBQ chicken which makes you drool, just at the mere sight of it! Cheese lovers, this is definitely a must-order for y’all!

This is served in 2 other versions - Classic Cheese and Salchipapa (Sausage topping with coleslaw).

Another crowd favourite at Social is the South Hall Fish and Chips. Basa fish is marinated in vindaloo, or spiced curry paste with beer batter, and is served with masala fries and lehsun (garlic) chutney mayo, making it the perfect snack to much on!

I also ordered Crispy Sesame Honey Chilli Fries and Chilly Chicken for appetizers! The former consisted of sweet and spicy, crispy potato fries topped with sesame seeds and the latter was chicken chunks prepared with hot, peppery Sriracha sauce. Both the dishes tasted absolutely amazing!

Sharing plates are a bonafide hit at Social! I ordered the Killer Kebab Platter, which consisted of old school Chicken Tikka, Jose’s Jalapeno Tikka, Mutton Seekh and Paneer Tikka, served with green chutney and laccha onion. This one was definitely a fan favourite, and thus we had to order another one of the same because we just couldn’t get enough of it!

Taking a much-needed break after the appetizers, I decided to order something rich and indulgent to drink. The Oreo Mud Pot Shake and The Ferrero Rocher Shake were the apt fit to quench my thirst for something chocolatey.

Moving on to the main course, I ordered Butter Chicken Biryani, which was served with some fried chips and salted curd, along with two custom-made meals – the first being Chilli Chicken and Hakka Noodles, and the second one was Butter Chicken and Butter Naan, What I loved the most was the presentation of the Butter Chicken meal since they came in old-school lunchboxes. The quality of food and the taste factor on all three main courses was a clear hit!

After such a fulfilling meal, there was no room for anything but dessert. And of course, I had to order my absolute favourite – The Chocolate Chutzpah. Decadent, rich chocolate cake with smarties and crackles, with a dunked in Chocobar, was the perfect end to a delectable meal!

All in all, the complete visit to Cyber Hub Social was a fulfilling one. The USP of the place is that everything is reasonably priced, the décor and ambience is a pleasant one and the hospitality bestowed by the entire staff is commendable. Also, the music tends to keep your foot tapping, which is definitely a plus point (for me, at least).

The only feedback I have is regarding the waiting time. It is quite a lot if you plan to visit unexpectedly. I would suggest everyone to book a place before visiting in order to avoid the waiting queue.

Other than that one thing, Cyber Hub Social is definitely a must-try outlet if you’re in Gurgaon or planning to visit!
